Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former governor of Anambra State, has advised Nigerians to choose between Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, in order to select the next president of Nigeria in the upcoming elections. Ezeife made this recommendation to the Nigerian people.
Ezeife said that it was in the best interest of peace and inclusivity for the presidential contenders from the southern portion of Nigeria to receive support from the northern section of the country.
This was reportedly stated by the elder statesman on Monday in Abuja at the Obi-Datti International Conference, 2023 and Public Presentation of a book titled “Business Unusual: Postulating Peter Obi’s Presidency,” according to a statement that was made accessible to our correspondent on Tuesday.
Ezeife, however, said that Nigerians should jettison what he described as “bullion van politics,” which he attributed to the PDP and the APC. He urged Nigerians to reject the idea of voting for a candidate of northern origin. He attributed this “bullion van politics” to both parties.
