A group of armed men posing as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have abducted 10 guests from White Hill Hotel on Shiroro Road, Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State.
According to intelligence sources, the incident occurred around 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2025. The assailants, dressed as EFCC personnel, claimed to be on an official operation before storming the hotel.
Reports indicate that the attackers disabled the hotel’s CCTV cameras before forcefully entering guests’ rooms and taking 10 individuals to an unknown location.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Intelligence Department (Acpol SID), confirmed that an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators and locate the victims.
Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as security forces intensify efforts to uncover details of the attack.
Attempts to reach EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale for comment were unsuccessful, as his phone was switched off at the time of reporting.
