A beautiful Quranic verse to reflect on the 8th day of Ramadan is:

Surah Al-Anfal (8:2)

“Indeed, the believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts tremble, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord, they rely.”

This verse reminds us of the qualities of true believers—having a heart that trembles at the mention of Allah, increasing in faith through the Quran, and placing full trust in Him. It is a powerful reminder for Ramadan, a time of deep spiritual connection and reliance on Allah.

May Allah strengthen your faith this Ramadan!

Here is a prayer (du’a) for the 8th day of Ramadan:

Allahumma arzuqni fihi rahmata al-ayatam, wa it’ama at-ta’am, wa ifsha’a as-salam, wa suhbat al-kiram, bi-tawlik ya malja’a al-amileen.

Translation:
“O Allah, grant me in this day the mercy towards orphans, the feeding of the hungry, the spreading of peace, and the companionship of the noble. By Your grace, O refuge of those who seek!”

May Allah accept your fasts and prayers!
