#King of Steeze Returns: Farooq Oreagba Steals the Show Again at Ojude Oba 2025

Farooq Oreagba, the effortlessly stylish cancer survivor who captivated the world at the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival, has done it again—reclaiming his unofficial title as the “King of Steeze” at the 2025 edition.

Back in the spotlight, Oreagba once again turned heads as he arrived on horseback, exuding confidence and charisma with a blend of tradition, flair, and modern edge. His return to the festival, marked by his unmistakable fashion sense and powerful presence, reignited the admiration he sparked last year.

In 2024, Oreagba became an internet sensation with his bold look: a green and lemon agbada, coral beads, a gold crossbody chain, Apple Watch, designer sunglasses, and a cigar poised between his lips—all while tattoos peeked from beneath his sleeves. That moment didn’t just trend—it crowned him as the undeniable face of Ojude Oba.

This year, he elevated that legacy.

As the Managing Director of NG Clearing Limited, Oreagba combined corporate poise with cultural pride, riding once more in style and making a statement without saying a word. Social media was quick to react, with fans hailing him as the eternal “King of Steeze.”

But beyond the fashion and fame, Farooq Oreagba is a man of extraordinary resilience. Born in July 1966 in Ijebu-Ode, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and carcinoma in 2014. After a fierce battle, he achieved full remission in 2015 and was declared cancer-free by 2017.

Oreagba holds a B.Eng in Combined Engineering Studies from Coventry University, a BTec Diploma in Business & Finance from the University of East London, and also studied at Edward Greenes College, Oxford. His professional journey spans decades in the financial sector both locally and internationally, including a role on the Derivatives Product Advisory Committee of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

At Ojude Oba 2025, Oreagba reminded everyone why he remains not just a fashion icon, but a symbol of courage, elegance, and cultural pride.
