In a statement released on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the party’s mobilisation wing, ADC Vanguard, celebrated the outcome, describing it as a “stunning victory.”

The elections were held in the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, the Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, and the Basawa State Constituency. According to the ADC Vanguard, the results reflect the growing influence of the party across Kaduna State.

“ADC Coalition dominates Kaduna State, securing 2 out of 3 constituencies in a stunning victory,” the party’s statement read.

Political Reactions

Following the polls, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Ayekooto Akindele criticized former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, stating that the voting pattern showed a shift in political loyalty within the state.

He noted:

“Unfortunately for him, Kaduna people said loudly today that Uba Sani is their leader.”

Awaiting Official Results

While the ADC has claimed success, the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission is yet to officially release the full results of the bye-elections.

Political analysts believe the development could signal a potential realignment of power in Kaduna politics, as opposition parties gain momentum against the ruling APC.
