President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Friday for a working visit, during which he will commission the remodelled National Theatre, now renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts. The visit follows his attendance at the coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu will engage with private sector leaders and senior government officials while in Lagos. On Tuesday, September 30, he will travel to Imo State to commission projects initiated by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The President is expected to return to Abuja to deliver a national address on Wednesday, October 1, as part of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary celebrations.
