Some South-East Politicians, Businessmen Oppose Nnamdi Kanu’s Release, Says ZLP Chairman (Video)

Dan Iwuanyanwu, National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), has claimed that certain prominent politicians and businessmen in the South-East are against the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Iwuanyanwu alleged that these individuals fear losing their political and social relevance due to Kanu’s widespread popularity in the region.

He stated that some top businessmen involved in oil and other ventures in Abuja, along with influential politicians, believe Kanu’s release would end their political careers without him needing to speak. “Nnamdi Kanu has been loved by the people,” Iwuanyanwu said, highlighting the “organic” support for the pro-Biafra leader.
