The Federal Government has clarified that 41 Federal Unity Colleges have been shut down following rising security concerns and recent cases of student abductions. The decision was approved by the Minister of Education.
According to the ministry, the closure applies only to the listed Unity Schools, and principals have been directed to enforce the shutdown immediately. It does not affect all secondary schools nationwide, as some reports had suggested.
