### INSECURITY BENUE: SEVEN CAMEROONIAN BANDITS ARRESTED IN BENUE BORDER COMMUNITY.

Benue State security agencies have detained seven foreign nationals suspected of involvement in criminal activities in Imande-Agbatse, a border community connecting Nigeria and Cameroon.

The suspects—Titakung Cyril Gadinga, Nuvi Clifford Babila, Foyabo Godwin Nuvi T, Doh Collins Dobgima, Basil Smith, Dama Kenneth Babila, and Dingana Emmanuel—were apprehended in the early hours of Monday by vigilant community youths before being handed over to law enforcement authorities.

Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama reported on Tuesday that the men are accused of participating in banditry and aiding criminal networks operating across the border.

The suspects are currently in the custody of the State Police Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), where they are undergoing profiling and investigation.

Citing security sources, Zagazola noted that Benue State has largely remained calm despite the arrests, as authorities continue efforts to determine the suspects’ precise roles in cross-border criminal operations.
