Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has approved minor adjustments to his cabinet, aimed at enhancing efficiency and improving coordination within the state government.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, confirmed that the reshuffle involves three significant appointments.
Vincent Osas Uwadiae has been redeployed from the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources to serve as Commissioner for Lands and Housing.

Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, who previously held the Lands and Housing portfolio, has been appointed Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Meanwhile, Gani Audu, the former Chief of Staff, has been nominated as Commissioner for Oil and Gas Resources, pending approval by the Edo State House of Assembly.
The changes take effect from January 30, 2026.

The statement added that Governor Okpebholo believes the adjustments will strengthen policy implementation, governance, and overall coordination across ministries in Edo State.
