The President encouraged eligible citizens to participate actively in the polls without fear, stressing that a calm and respectful environment is essential for a credible democratic process. He called on political parties, candidates, and their supporters to avoid violence, hate speech, and actions capable of undermining the integrity of the elections.

Tinubu also cautioned against intimidation, abuse of power, or any conduct that could deny voters their rights or weaken public confidence in the process. He emphasized that security agencies are deployed to safeguard lives, property, and the integrity of the ballot.

In addition, the President appealed to INEC to strengthen public trust by ensuring efficient voter accreditation, smooth voting, accurate collation, and timely transmission of results in line with the 2026 Electoral Act.

He reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to supporting institutions responsible for conducting free, fair, and credible elections, expressing confidence that the polls would reflect the will of the people and further consolidate Nigeria’s democratic progress.
