The All Progressives Congress has extended heartfelt felicitations to Nigerians, particularly the Muslim community, on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging citizens to uphold the values of Ramadan—charity, obedience, and self-reflection—while promoting peace, unity, and national progress.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party encouraged Nigerians to use the festival to support the less privileged and demonstrate kindness and compassion. The statement described Eid-el-Fitr as a period of spiritual renewal that strengthens family and community bonds through charity, prayer, fellowship, and peaceful coexistence.
The APC emphasized that the virtues cultivated during Ramadan, including sacrifice, penitence, and obedience, should continue beyond the holy month to foster enduring national unity and prosperity. Citizens were also urged to pray for the peace, stability, and collective progress of Nigeria, while extending support to those in need.
