KANO GOV YUSUF SACKS INVESTMENT COMMISSIONER SAGAGI

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has terminated the appointment of the Commissioner for Investment, Commerce and Industry, Shehu Wada Sagagi, effective immediately.

The announcement was made on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa. Sagagi has been instructed to transfer responsibilities to the Director of Commerce as part of a swift leadership transition in the ministry.

Governor Yusuf thanked Sagagi for his contributions, particularly in advancing politics, religion, and the growth of small and medium enterprises in the state. “We appreciate his dedication and commitment during his tenure and wish him success in his future endeavours,” the governor stated.

The statement noted that the dismissal is part of a broader government restructuring aimed at promoting systematic growth and sustainable development. Governor Yusuf also assured residents of Kano State of his administration’s continued focus on efficient service delivery and good governance.

No successor has been named for the commissioner role.
