The announcement was made in a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Before her latest appointment, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu served as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

President Tinubu also nominated Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, pending confirmation by the Senate.

Until his nomination, Enikanolaiye served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations. The seasoned diplomat, who hails from Kogi State, has spent more than three decades in Nigeria’s foreign service and previously held positions including Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the presidency, the appointments are part of efforts aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s foreign policy structure, improving diplomatic engagement, and deepening international partnerships.
