According to a statement released on Sunday, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire, held an interactive session with airline representatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between airport authorities and airline operators.

FAAN said the engagement provided a platform for both sides to address operational concerns affecting airport efficiency and passenger services.

During the session, Agbebire explained that the meeting was aimed at improving coordination between the Department of Protocol and Passages and airline operators, while also creating room for airlines to express challenges affecting their operations.

Airline representatives reportedly raised several concerns, including poor signage around ongoing landside construction, inadequate lift facilities, shuttle bus challenges, and issues with airside ramp markings affected by construction activities. They also called for improved support to enhance overall customer experience at airports.

In response, FAAN assured stakeholders that all concerns raised would be carefully reviewed with a view to improving operational standards and service delivery across airports nationwide.
