Nigerian troops have arrested five individuals suspected of collaborating with terrorist groups during coordinated security operations across Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, and Niger States.

The suspects, identified as Babangida Abubakar and Abdullahi Yusuf, were arrested on Monday morning.
Security sources indicated that one of the suspects allegedly admitted involvement in the abduction of schoolchildren in Mussa and participation in an attack on Leho village in Borno State, while the other reportedly confessed to taking part in a separate attack in Adamawa State. Both are currently in military custody for further investigation.

In Yobe State, troops intercepted another suspected ISWAP/JAS informant during a stop-and-search operation along the Buni Gari–Buni Yadi road in Gujba Local Government Area. The suspect was arrested during routine patrols and is undergoing interrogation following preliminary findings linking him to movements across rural settlements in the area.
In Borno State, an intelligence-led operation in Gubio Local Government Area led to the arrest of a suspected logistics supplier believed to be aiding insurgent activities. The suspect was reportedly caught transporting food supplies, including grains and other items, suspected to be intended for terrorist groups. A vehicle and several items were recovered during the operation.

In Niger State, joint operatives of the Nigerian military and the Nigeria Immigration Service arrested a suspected Boko Haram informant in Koro community, Kainji axis of Borgu Local Government Area. The suspect was tracked across multiple locations before being apprehended in connection with alleged support roles during previous attacks in the region
