The National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), under the Office of the National Security Adviser, has partnered with the British High Commission to launch a specialized training programme aimed at enhancing the operational readiness of Nigeria’s security personnel.
The capacity-building initiative includes Gold, Silver and Bronze Incident Commanders Courses, as well as an Intelligence Analysis Course, designed to strengthen participants’ skills in crisis management, coordinated emergency response, and intelligence-led operations.
The programme is intended to improve the ability of security agencies to respond effectively to complex security threats while promoting stronger collaboration among relevant institutions.
The initiative also reflects the continued commitment of Nigeria and the United Kingdom to strengthening the country’s security framework through professional training, knowledge sharing, and enhanced inter-agency cooperation.
