Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has appointed lawyer, actor, and politician Kenneth Okonkwo as his official spokesperson ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appointment is seen as a significant addition to Atiku’s political team as preparations for the next presidential election continue to gather pace.
In his new role, Okonkwo will oversee media communications, engage with the public on behalf of the former vice president, and articulate Atiku’s positions on national issues as well as his vision for the 2027 presidential race.
