Kitan was a cherished member of our Queen’s College sisterhood—a warm, loving, and dependable friend whose messages, presence, and unwavering commitment kept us connected. No matter the occasion, she travelled from Abeokuta to be with us, often arriving before everyone else, simply because she treasured the bonds we shared. Proudly and passionately a Queen’s College girl, Kitan was actively involved in planning our forthcoming 50th Anniversary Reunion until her final days. Her last message to us reflected the kindness and affection that defined her life. We are heartbroken by the loss of a woman whose friendship, loyalty, and vibrant spirit enriched our lives daily. Though her light was cruelly extinguished far too soon, her memory will forever remain woven into the fabric of our sisterhood and will be felt in every moment of our reunion. Rest peacefully, dear Kitan. You were deeply loved, greatly valued, and will never be forgotten. Gone too soon. Forever one of us. — Your Sisters, Queen’s College Class of 1975/77
