The governor congratulated President Tinubu on the successful rescue of the schoolchildren recently abducted in Oyo State, describing it as a reflection of the administration’s commitment to protecting lives and enhancing national security.

He also praised the Federal Government over the recent increase in crude oil production, saying the development would boost government revenue, improve economic stability and provide additional resources for national development.

Uzodimma expressed support for the proposed establishment of state police, noting that it would strengthen the country’s security framework by enabling state governments to respond more effectively to local security challenges.

The governor also updated the President on the progress of major infrastructure projects being carried out by the Imo State Government, stating that the initiatives are improving living standards, boosting economic activities and expanding investment opportunities within the state.

According to him, the projects complement the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda by promoting inclusive development, improving infrastructure and creating a more favourable environment for businesses.

Uzodimma further invited President Tinubu to Imo State to inaugurate some of the completed projects, expressing confidence that the visit would reinforce collaboration between the Federal Government and the state.

He said the meeting reflected the shared commitment of both governments to implementing policies and programmes that promote national development and improve the welfare of Nigerians.
