The Presidency has said the Federal Government’s ongoing investment in infrastructure is aimed at driving economic growth, improving connectivity and creating more opportunities for businesses across Nigeria.
Speaking during an inspection of the reconstruction of the Kabba–Egbe–Omuaran Federal Road in Kogi State, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Public Engagement, Fredrick Nwabufo, said the scale of infrastructure projects underway demonstrates the administration’s commitment to national development.
He noted that road construction and other major infrastructure projects are taking place across different parts of the country, reflecting the government’s focus on expanding transportation networks and supporting economic activities.
According to Nwabufo, improved infrastructure will enhance accessibility, encourage commercial activities and boost local economies once the projects are completed.
He added that the ongoing reconstruction of the Kabba–Egbe–Omuaran road is expected to stimulate business activities along the corridor and contribute to the objectives of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The inspection was carried out by the Presidential Media Team, led by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, alongside the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Special Duties, Tunde Rahman.
