#Adeboye, Olukoya predict mixed messages for 2024

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has conveyed a message predicting that things will worsen before improvement occurs in the coming year. Despite this, the influential cleric urged Nigerians not to lose hope. Adeboye shared this insight during his first message of the year at Redemption City on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.

Dressed in a white native attire, Adeboye emphasized the importance of delivering prophecies so that people could prepare for upcoming events. Drawing a metaphor, he compared a person jumping from a building to someone being pushed, highlighting the significance of being prepared for challenges.

Adeboye encapsulated his New Year’s message with the phrase “the wind is blowing,” emphasizing its relevance. He forecasted that, concerning Nigeria, the situation would deteriorate before witnessing improvement, urging his followers to include this in their prayers.

Despite the challenging outlook, Adeboye offered words of encouragement, assuring that, with time, conditions would ameliorate. He reminded believers to stay hopeful, emphasizing that opportunities would arise throughout the year, and those starting with nothing might become significant by the year’s end.

In a similar vein, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, echoed a troubling forecast for the year but assured Nigerians that with prayers and obedience to God’s commands, they would overcome. Olukoya labeled 2024 as the Year of Open Doors and Divine Speed, acknowledging it as a troublesome year but not as severe as 2023.

Additionally, the Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. Alfred Adewale Martins, urged the Federal Government and political leaders to focus on economic policies that would alleviate the hardships faced by the impoverished masses. He emphasized the need for policies that would address the rising cost of essential commodities and the loss in the value of the naira.

Finally, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), through its National President, Bishop Wale Oke, assured Nigerians of great things happening in the country in the coming year. Oke encouraged gratitude for God’s mercy and anticipated new opportunities, prosperity, and greatness.
