A senator representing Bauchi State has denied allegations linking him to banditry, describing videos circulating on social media as fake and misleading.
The lawmaker said the viral clips were being used to create a false impression about his activities and alleged connection with criminal groups.

He dismissed the claims as an attempt to damage his reputation, stressing that he had no relationship with bandits or any other criminal organisation.
The senator urged the public to disregard the videos and other materials being circulated online, insisting that they do not accurately represent him or his activities.
He also called for caution when sharing unverified information on social media, particularly content capable of damaging the reputation of individuals or creating tension in society.
