#Binani Declared Governor- Elect Of Adamawa State

Senator Aishatu Binani of the APC has won the governorship election in Adamawa State.

Binani, thereby becoming the first woman to be elected governor in Nigeria.

She polled 409,909 to defeat the PDP candidate, Ahmadu Fintiri that polled 406,617.
