Ex-Millitants under the aegis of Niger Delta Challengers have assured APC presidential candidate,Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his vice Shettima of their support in the forthcoming general elections.
In a statement signed by Engr. Tina Onojeghuo-Echero , National co-ordinator and Chief Sophiegha Ayebi, the group extolled the leadership qualities of Tinubu making reference to his reforms as Governor of Lagos state which they said had positioned the state for growth and order. According to them, initiatives like LASMA which created jobs for the youths helped to curb petty crime like bag snatching in Lagos.
The Challengers said all their members drawn from the nine states in the Niger Delta region will join hands to deliver 65 percent of the votes in the region to the Tinubu/Shettima ticket come February 25.
“As we delivered to President Muhammadu Buhari so shall we, to our citadel of brain Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
They called on the youths to vote for Tinubu as he is known for creating jobs for the youth and building up young persons, adding that what Nigeria needs at a time like this is experience and Tinubu has it.
The Niger Delta Challengers are Ex-Millitants who are members of the APC.
