Headlinenews correspondents have received the copy of the EU report on the 2023 Elections in Nigeria. A fake EU report prepared fraudulently by aggrieved candidates went viral recently which necessitated the Headlinenews to contact the EU for their response.
The first preliminary report has just been completed and the final report would be ready after the Gubernatorial Elections. Nigerians are therefore advised against accepting documents on the social media which is not on an accredited website like Headlinenews.
It is unfortunate that aggrieved candidates who have been advised to seek redress in court can stoop this low to fraudulently use the letterhead of an International organisation like the EU to perpetrate their fraudulent activities in their true nature.
The original report from the EU is available here for the perusal of our esteemed readers.

EU EOM NIGERIA 2023_FIRST PRELIMINARY STATEMENT _27_02_2023
Nigerians are hereby advised to imbibe the spirit of Patriotism and eschew from acts which could tarnish Nigeria’s image within the International community. The security agencies should take on the investigation of the fake letter on the EU letterhead within those who stand to benefit from the contents of the fake letter. It’s important to ensure this act does not go unpunished as the fake letter has circulated outside Nigeria.
