A video circulating online features Bode George, a prominent figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), leveling serious allegations against the late Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, just hours before news of Wigwe’s tragic demise.
While many mourned Wigwe’s untimely death, acknowledging his remarkable contributions to the Nigerian banking industry, George took a different stance in a recent video shared on TVC’s YouTube page. The PDP chieftain asserted that the deceased, along with other bank CEOs like UBA’s Tony Elumelu and former CBN governor Godwin Emefiele, amassed substantial wealth through corruption within the Nigerian banking sector.
George claimed that these CEOs received dollars monthly, diverting the funds for personal profits instead of addressing the needs of the citizens. Allegedly, they sold the dollars to Aboki, BDC, and the black market, reaping billions of Naira in profit while depriving those in genuine need.
