#Breaking! Buhari Presides Over National Security Council Meeting, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari has convened a National security council meeting at the State House in Abuja.

The meeting which has all security chiefs in attendance, comes barely two days before the general elections and is expected to review the current security situation in Nigeria.

Before the meeting, the President presided over the launch of security equipment donated by the Coalition Against Covid-19 (CACOVID) at the Council Chambers.

As Nigerians go to the polls in the next few days, the issue of naira scarcity occasioned by the redesign of new naira notes, fuel scarcity, and insecurity are still major concerns. However, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has insisted that the election will go as planned.

The Nigeria Police Force, last Thursday in Abuja, said it would deploy 310,973 of its personnel to the over 176,846 polling units nationwide for the exercises holding on February 25.
