To put it briefly: All Parties expected to obey the Court Order as it affects the currency redesign and stoppage of the usage of the old Naira Notes must abide by the Order of Extension made by the Supreme Court which subsists till the hearing and determination of the substantive suit which has been adjourned till next week Wednesday, the 22nd of February 2023.
Failure of the CBN to obey the Court Order, would be considered as an act of contempt of the Order of the Supreme Court and would attract appropriate sanctions against the CBN Governor.
