The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has apprehended Mrs. Adachukwu Okafor, a lawyer who had been evading arrest after allegedly abusing her 10-year-old househelp. The lawyer is accused of using a broken bottle, knife, and an electric pressing iron to brutalize the girl. The Minister of Women Affairs had earlier announced a N2 million reward for information leading to Okafor’s location. The ministry is determined to collaborate with the police for an immediate investigation into the matter, ensuring justice for the victim currently undergoing medical treatment.
