The All Progressives Congress All Progressives Congress has confirmed that its National Assembly Primaries Appeal Committee in Delta State has received five petitions following the recently concluded primary elections in the state.

The committee chairman, Chukwuemeka Ujam Chukwuemeka Ujam, disclosed this while speaking with journalists at the APC secretariat in Asaba, Delta State Asaba. He said the panel is currently reviewing complaints submitted by aggrieved aspirants and party stakeholders over the conduct of the primaries.

Ujam explained that the five-member committee arrived in Delta State shortly after the House of Representatives primaries and reconvened again after the senatorial primaries to continue its assignment. He added that the committee’s work is still ongoing and focused strictly on examining petitions in line with party guidelines.

He further clarified that the committee will not disclose details of its review process until conclusions are reached, stressing that all submitted petitions are being carefully assessed before a final report is prepared.

The development highlights ongoing internal dispute resolution efforts within the APC in Delta State following the conclusion of its National Assembly primary elections
