In an exercise of his authority as the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to Ekiti State University (EKSU), Mr. Biodun Oyebanji has sanctioned the appointment of Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, a distinguished business figure, as the Chancellor of EKSU.
Hailing from Are-Ekiti, Dr. Olowolafe brings decades of professional experience and an impeccable reputation to the role. A medical doctor turned successful businessman, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Deux Project Limited, a company specializing in civil engineering, construction, consultancy, and maintenance, co-founded in 1988. Dr. Olowolafe has also contributed to the community by serving as a member of the Ekiti State Covid-19 Resource Mobilization Committee.
A graduate of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Dr. Olowolafe initially practiced medicine before venturing into entrepreneurship. He is the Founder of Generic Product Limited, established in 1996, and holds the position of Chairman and Managing Director at Deux Investment Limited.
The appointment is effective immediately.
