Headlinenews.news would like to appeal to the social media promoters to refrain from spreading fake news as this sort of misinformation could lead to heating up the polity and create instability in our constituencies amidst an already tense situation with economic hardship.
This is not a campaign season where opposition and sponsored agents should be distracting governance and misleading the polity.
It’s time to stop this negative action for the sake of the progress and stability of the country.
We need to have a social conscience and proffer solutions to our multifaceted problems which are a result of inherited challenges which the administration is trying to address.
Let us be positive and work out suggestions for peace. Let us publish and promote facts and not fiction.
Nigerians are God fearing people, so let us re- examine ourselves. You gain nothing from sharing fake news which have no iota of truth.
If you have no way to verify the truth, it’s better you do not publish or share. If you are designing fake news eflyers, knowing it is fake news in return for monetary compensation, then you will expect God’s judgement because you are causing misery on the people. When you know people are complaining of the high cost of food and hardship, then you design a fake eflyer claiming the President & Vice President are spending billions on foodstuff, which is FAKE, you will be punished by God for this falsehood.
Use your skills & talent to design encouraging eflyers to give the people hope in this situation. That’s what we need now amidst the present situation. By the time we plant in this planting season, cost of foodstuff will drop to affordable prices. We missed a planting season in Nigeria because of the Emefiele cash crunch last year – the small growers are responsible for 85% of the foodstuff in the market and they had no cash to plant last year. When there is no planting, there can’t be any harvest.
We need to look back at the root cause of this issue about cost of foodstuff beside removal of fuel Subsidy. There are various factors responsible. Let us be fair.
Nigeria will be better.
Let us stop spreading fake news and making people distressed.
Let us build Nigeria not destroy it. We have only this country and we must all work together to salvage her. It is our Country. We have no other country! President Tinubu cannot govern and resolve our problems without our support and assistance.
