Popular nightlife entrepreneur and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
In a recent video shared online, the celebrity barman announced that he will be contesting to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said his decision to enter politics is driven by a desire to serve his people rather than for personal financial gain, stressing that his focus is on development and community upliftment.

“I am not coming to steal money, I want to add mine to the constituency,” he said.
The announcement marks a new phase in his public life, coming shortly after his involvement with the Tinubu City Boys Movement, a youth mobilisation group supporting President Bola Tinubu’s political structure ahead of 2027.
Earlier in February, Cubana Chief Priest was named the Imo State Director of the movement, a role that placed him at the centre of grassroots mobilisation for the president’s re-election campaign.
The group described him at the time as a key figure with influence and experience in engaging young people and driving political awareness in the state. According to the movement, his appointment was aimed at strengthening support structures and advancing what it calls the “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
With his latest declaration, Cubana Chief Priest joins a growing list of entertainers and public figures transitioning into formal politics ahead of the 2027 elections, adding more attention to an already heated political season.
