Ivory Coast has secured more than $80 billion in funding commitments during a donors’ conference held in Abidjan, surpassing its initial investment target.

The funding is expected to support major infrastructure projects and key economic reforms aimed at attracting increased foreign investment and accelerating national development.
As the world’s largest producer of cocoa, Ivory Coast continues to benefit from a strong agricultural sector, which has helped strengthen investor confidence and provide a solid foundation for economic growth.
Part of the investment will also be directed toward expanding and improving the country’s energy sector to boost industrialisation and support long-term economic development.
