*Commentary of the Qur’an (According to Sunnah) … contd*
Narrated `Uqba bin Sahban:
`Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani who was one of those who witnessed (the event of) the tree, said, “The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the throwing of small stones (with two fingers).”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ صُهْبَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ، إِنِّي مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ الشَّجَرَةَ، نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْخَذْفِ.

*NOTES 📝*
1. This hadith is also referenced by al-Bukhari as explanation to the statement of Allah : *”…When they gave their Bay’ah (pledge) to you (O Muḥammad ﷺ) under the tree…”* (Surah al-Fath ayah 18).
2. The Prophet ﷺ was sent as a mercy to the worlds. There is nothing that causes harm except that he forbids us from doing as a mercy for us and mercy for all of creation. In a similar hadith collected by al-Bukhari and Muslim, Abdullāh ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade throwing stones and said: *”It does not kill the quarry or harm the enemy. Instead, it can gouge out an eye or break a tooth.”* Another narration reads: “A relative of Ibn Mughaffal threw a stone (using the index finger and the thumb), and he forbade him, saying: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade throwing stones and said: *’It does not hunt a quarry.”* Then, he did it again. So, Ibn Mughaffal said: ‘I tell you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that and you do it again! I shall never talk to you again.'”
3. Scholars have provided clarification regarding the “prohibited throwing” mentioned in this Hadīth, specifying it as the act of placing a pebble between the right index finger and either the left index finger or thumb, followed by flicking. The Prophet ﷺ forbade this practice due to its potential to cause harm, such as eye injuries or broken teeth, when directed at others. Moreover, he ﷺ highlighted its inadequacy for hunting or defense purposes, as it lacks the force of arrows or other effective weapons typically utilized for such activities. Furthermore, the Hadith highlights the profound reverence the companions held for the Prophet ﷺ exemplified by the sahabi distancing himself from his nephew for engaging in an action prohibited by the Prophet ﷺ reflecting the profound love and loyalty the companions, particularly those who pledged allegiance (i.e. Bay’atul Ridhwan) to the Prophet ﷺ.

Asbahna/amsaina Wa Asbahal/amsal mulluku lil -laahi wal hamdu lillahi laa ilaha illallahu wahdahu laa sharikalahu lahul mulku walahul hamdu Wa huwa alaa kulli shai ‘in qadir rabbi as aluka khaira maafii hazal yaumi/hazihillailat Wa khaira maa ba adahu/ba’adaha Wa a uzubika min sharri maafii hazal yaumi/hazihillailat Wa sharri må ba adahu/ba’adaha rabbi a uzubika minal kasali wa su ‘il kibari rabbi a uzubika min azabi fin nari wa azabin fil qabar..

🏝اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِر لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Allahumma anta rabbi laa ilaaha illa anta khalaqatani wa anaa abduka wa ana alaa ahdika wawa ‘aduka mastada ‘atu a ‘uzu bika min sharri masana ‘atu abu ‘ ulaka bi ni ‘imataka alaiya wa abu ‘ubi zambi fagfirli fa ‘innahu lå yagfiruz zunuba illa anta..

🔮اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُك (×4)

Allahumma inni asbahtu/amsaitu ushhiduka wa ushhidu hamalata arshika wa mala ikataka wa jami a khalqika annaka antal lahu laa ilaaha illaa anta wahdaka lashari kalaka wa anna muhammadan abduka wa rasuluka… Sau hudu safe da Maraice.

اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ

Allahumma må asbah/amsaa bii min ni ‘imatin au bi ahadin min khaqika faminka wahdaka laa sharilka laka falakal hamdu walakas shukru…

💝اللَّهُمَّ عَافِـني فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِـنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْر، وَالفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، لَا إلَهَ إلاَّ أَنْت َ(×3 )

Hasbiyal lahu lå ilaha illahuwa alaihi tå wakkaltu wa huwa rabbul arshil azim… Sau bakwai safiya da maraice.

🍒اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي، وَدُنْيَايَ، وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيَ

Ya Haiyu ya qaiyum bi ramataka astagisu aslili sha ‘ani kullahu wala takilni ilaa nafsi darfata ainin…

☕أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّـي أَسْأَلُكَ خَـيْرَ هَذَا الْـيَوْمِ ، فَتْحَهُ، وَنَصْرَهُ، وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ، وَهُدَاهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ

🌅أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِـيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَاـَى مِلَّـةِ أَبِينَا إِبْـرَاهِيـمَ، حَنِيفاً مُسْلِماً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

Asbahna/amsaina ala fidratil islam wa ala kalimatil iklas wa ala dini nabiyyina muhammadin s.a.w.wa ala millati abina ibrahima hanifan musliman wama kana minal mushrikina…

🕳لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِير ( 10 , or 100 times

Laa ilaha illallahu wahdahu lashari kalahu lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa alaa kulli shai ‘in qhadir … Sau goma safiya da maraice in kaji kasala Sau daya..

🎗سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ ( ×3 )
🎍TRANSLITERATION.
Subhanallahi wabi hamdihi adada khalqihi wa ridha nafsihi wa zinata arshihi wa midada kalimatihi… Sau uku safiya da maraice.

🎀اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً، وَ رِزْقاً طَيِّباً، وَ عَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً

Allahumma inni as ‘aluka ilman nafii ‘an wa rizqan dayyiban wa amalan mutaqabbalan… Da safe

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ ( ×100 )

أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق (3)

A ‘uzu bikalimatil lahit tammat minsharri maa khalaqa… Sau uku da maraice.

اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ، اللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ( ×10

Allahumma salli wa sallim alaa nabiyyina muhammadin s.a.w… (Sau Goma)

*O Allah, our Sustainer, all praise belongs to You. Such praise that fills Heavens and Earth and fills everything else that is desired by You. O High and Praiseworthy! You are entitled to all the praise that Your servants can offer. We are all Your servants. O God, whatever You bestow there is none who can prevent it and whatever You withhold, there is none who can bestow it. In comparison to You, no great person’s greatness can benefit one at all.*
*O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, I seek shelter in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I supplicate for Your protection. I cannot count Your attributes. You are exactly like, You have defined Yourself.*
*O Almighty Allah, forgive us, have mercy on us, guide us, keep us safe, reform us, give us sustenance, and bestow dignity upon us.*

*With so many distressing things happening around the world, remember the verse:*
*أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلۡمُضۡطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكۡشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ*
*”Is He (i.e. Allah) not the best who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil…”*
*(An-Naml:62)*

*Allah can remove hardship of any size, because there is no strength nor power except with Allah.*
*So turn to HIM – ask, beg, beseech, plead, …*

In The Name of Almighty Allah, Most Beneficent, Ever Merciful.
O Allah, we beg You to protect us from asking You that whereof we have no knowledge. And unless You forgive us and have mercy on us, we shall be among the losers.
You are our Protector; forgive us then, and have
mercy on us, for You are the Best of those who forgive.
O Lord, open up for us,our hearts. And ease for us our tasks.
Guide our hearts towards goodness O Allah, and
establish reconciliation amongst us. Show us the
path to peace. Deliver us from darkness and guide
us to the light. Save us from evil deeds and mischief whether these are manifest or hidden.
O Allah, bless our eyes, our ears and our hearts,
bless our spouses and children and incline
towards us with mercy. Surely You accept
repentance and are oft-returning with Mercy.
Make us thankful for Your blessings. Make us
acknowledge and accept Your Beneficence and
accomplish that bounty for us. Amin.

By the Mercy of Allah, there are some deeds with great reward. One such deed is mentioned in the Hadith below.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 👉”Whoever prays the Isha prayer in congregation, it is as if he prayed half of the night; and whoever prays the morning fajr prayer in congregation, it is as if he prayed the whole night.”

The Noble companion Zubair Ibn Awwaam (رضي الله عنه) said:
“Whoever is able to do a good deed secretly, then do it.”

Surah An-Nahl, Verse 90:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; He admonishes you that you may be mindful.-Q16:90

O Allaah! Count us among your humble slaves who listen to Your words, understand them and act accordingly. Aameen!
