CHRISLAND SCHOOL APOLOGIZES OVER WHITNEY’S DEATH
The management of Chrisland International High School in Lagos has tendered an apology over the death of one of its students, Whitney Adeniran.
It was stated that Whitney Adeniran, died at Agege Stadium on the 9th February 2023 during the school’s inter house sports competition.
According to the deceased’s father, Dr. Michael Adeyemi Adeniran, said the 12-year-old had no health condition or sickness as of the time the school bus picked her up for the event.
However, the school on Sunday, in a now deleted post on social media said, ‘‘WE ARE SORRY. We are deeply saddened and sorry about Whitney’s death. We are remorseful and sorry to Whitney’s parents. We are sorry to the community that hosts our school and Nigeria at large. It was a huge loss to Chrisland.
