#Just In! President Tinubu Receives Commendation For His Effort So Far, Subsidy Benefactors Fighting Back- Headlinenews.news

*I want to commend President Tinubu for his boldness to state in clear terms that he is in support of state police. We all should commend him for that.

I knew that those who were beneficiaries of fuel subsidy will fight back and I am telling you that they are the ones sponsoring all that we are seeing today but President Tinubu will succeed. I am sure of that

Those who don’t know Tinubu’s antecedents can go to the media and say whatever they want to say but I have no doubt that he will succeed. He’s just spent 8 months. Let us give him time, he will succeed.

“Not removing subsidy years ago was the biggest mistakes we have made years back… Not removing subsidy is synonymous to more borrowing and printing of money. Anyone who tell you it will have Political consequences is just selfish and unpatriotic. Our leaders refused to do the right things for fear of losing popular support or NLC strike. Kudos to President for damning the consequences. The remedy now is to fast track local refining capacity. Been an advocate for subsidy removal and privatization of the Refineries to serious and competent entrepreneurs probably under a JV arrangement.”

Nigerians have a habit of following the trend of noise making without stopping to think! What sort of people would leave their work or homes to go to the street to protest? Can you reading this post do that?
Only those people who are for hire at any amount. During campaigns, these people are readily available, but campaign is over so they need any excuse to make money doing what they love to do – noise making!
We all admit that the increase in price of everything in the country especially foodstuff which we need to survive is unacceptable and unbearable. However, its the teething problem of the new Administration of Tinubu which is mainly from inherited challenges and errors of the Buhari Administration which unfortunately has constituted ripples into his administration. Government they say is a continuum, so we ought to know that the Tinubu administration cannot be insulated from the problems initiated and caused by the maladministration of his predecessor. Nigerians are generally reasonable people. They possess the faculty of objective rationalisation of situations but lately, with the intense unprecedented political campaign of calumny meted on Asiwaju Tinubu, it has become a matter of giving a dog a bad name to hang him. The political campaign left a bitter taste in Nigerians and they are thrreby quick to blame President Tinubu for every maladie without stopping to rationalise as expected of citizens. The fact that the elections further divided the polity doesn’t help matters as President Tinubu’s status as a minority President makes him subjected to instigated reactions by sponsored groups and individuals who claim neutrality but are opposed to Tinubu’s efforts due to an undisclosed interest or sponsored action.
Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. President Tinubu remains at the mercy of his opponents, detractors and enemies unless he adopts a multipronged strategy and an excellent perception management team. Many confuse PR with PM unfortunately. PM was developed in the US by the Military and has been utilised all over the world in such situations as obtains in Nigeria. It requires local input so a local expert would be ideal. Unfortunately, we only have one expert in Nigeria for this specialised service. Headlinenews.news has done a review on this subject matter.
President Tinubu needs to think outside the box and embrace meritocracy now as opposed to mediocrity and sentimentalism if he is to shake off the stigma created by his opponents so his effort would be recognised and appreciated by the citizens. The protesters are all sponsored, no right thinking person would go out into the streets to protest. The Governors have been given increased funds to alleviate the peoples conditions in critical areas.
Serious reforms are ongoing in the fiscal & monetary sector in order to find a suitable workable solution for the short, medium & long term.
The CBN just stopped IOCs from taking out forex for the next 90 days, which is a strategic move. The EFCC has discovered a stash of $800million from an Ex- Governor’s place which could now be injected into the economy.
There are several successful reforms in the Aviation, Energy, Health and other sectors. Unfortunately, the administration has not been able to record any progress in the Power generation sector. This is an important sector and I hope the administration can declare a State of Emergency in the sector and appoint a competent vibrant Minister who can think outside the box to drive the sector. Nigerians will be happier with this.
The Tinubu administration is only 7 months old and Nigerians should give it a chance to address the myriads of issues bedevilling the Nation.
President Tinubu has never been a failure so he will surely get it right eventually. He needs support not distraction so he may succeed to work out solutions to all the challenges experienced.
The small growers account for 85% of foodstuffs in the market but missed a planting season last year because of the anti- people fiscal and monetary policies of Emefiele including his infamous cash crunch. Small growers had no access to cash and missed the planting season. It is for this reason that there is food scarcity and what is available so expensive. There are ways to correct this immediately. Only maize will be harvested by April 2024. The National Reserve was looted during the EndSars incident and funds released by PMB to restock was also looted, so the strategic National Grains Reserve are empty. This is not any fault of President Tinubu but what he inherited!
The President needs to be proactive now and not reactive. He needs more resourceful hands to assist to get Nigeria out of the woods in shaa Allah.
