Sada Soli, the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Water Resources, has criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) raid on the headquarters of the Dangote Group, calling it a “threat to foreign and domestic investments.” Mr. Soli condemned the recent probe of Dangote Group and other private entities, describing it as “harassment,” and has urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene. He emphasized the potential negative impact on investments and economic growth and urged the EFCC to adopt more appropriate methods for handling such investigations.
