A Nigerian man has sparked massive reactions online after showing off the features of the newly released Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, boldly claiming it outperforms the iPhone 17 Pro Max and other iPhones.
The age-old rivalry between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics once again took centre stage, with fans on both sides defending their favourite brands. While iPhone users often highlight Apple’s camera quality and global popularity, Samsung supporters argue that the company leads in innovation and cutting-edge features.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked on February 25, 2026, and released on March 11, comes with a 6.9-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and a redesigned titanium frame. Reports place its price between ₦3 million and ₦3.5 million.

In a viral video, the man demonstrated the phone’s powerful zoom capability, pushing it up to 43.2x and capturing a clear image of a house located on another street. He joked that the clarity was so sharp it felt like “the only thing left is to open the person’s door.”
He also showcased the phone’s AI editing tools, transforming a dull, rainy scene into a bright, sunny image within seconds — a feature that drew strong reactions from viewers.
As expected, social media users quickly joined the debate. Some praised Samsung’s innovation, saying the features were impressive enough to make iPhone users reconsider, while others remained loyal to Apple, insisting that iPhones still deliver where it matters most.
The video has since added fuel to the ongoing smartphone rivalry, with many users now comparing real-life performance rather than just specs.
