#Nigerian Actor, Femi Adebayo Told Me He Had Been Invited By Police For Promoting LGBTQ Over Best-dressed Female Award Given To Bobrisky, Says Actress, Dayo Amusa

Nigerian actress Dayo Amusa revealed that her colleague, Femi Adebayo, informed her that he had been summoned by the police for allegedly promoting LGBTQ+ content.

Adebayo faced severe backlash online after declaring transgender personality Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, widely known as Bobrisky, as the best-dressed female at a recent event in Lagos. Dayo also criticized Adebayo for his announcement in a video shared online.

In a viral video, Dayo Amusa stated, “Femi told me, ‘Dayo, this situation has gotten out of hand.’ Muslim communities are now accusing him, and the police have summoned him for questioning regarding promoting homosexuality.

“Femi Adebayo called me this morning, informing me that Muslim societies have accused him of possibly promoting transgender content.

“The police have requested his presence for promoting homosexuality, and he asked, he pleaded, saying, ‘Dayo, you need to release another video for damage control. You need to clarify that my video wasn’t meant to ridicule you or attack you, that you were unaware of the situation, that you were simply given a microphone to announce the winner, which you did.”

On Tuesday night, Femi’s wife, Aladuke, labeled Dayo Amusa a “hypocrite” and an “evil-minded” person in a post. She claimed Amusa had apologized to her husband, stating she “didn’t mean it the way it was interpreted and that you would do a video to correct that,” but she alleged that Amusa lied.

However, Dayo maintained her stance, asserting that she found it disrespectful to award a cross-dresser the title of best-dressed female.Breaking news HeadlineHeadline news
