Okonjo-Iweala Delights Audience with Dance Alongside Igbo Masquerades at WTO Event
Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, captivated attendees after joining Igbo masquerade performers in a lively cultural display during the WTO Open Day in Geneva, Switzerland.

A video from the event, which has gained widespread attention online, showed an Adamma masquerade dressed in colourful woven raffia and an intricately carved maiden mask performing energetic traditional dance steps to the rhythm of Ogene drums.

As the performance gathered momentum, Okonjo-Iweala stepped into the celebration, dancing alongside the masquerade with coordinated movements that reflected the vibrant beats of the traditional music.
Her participation drew loud cheers and applause from spectators, bringing a touch of Nigerian cultural heritage to the international gathering.
