OPPOSITION WON’T SCARE ME, I WON’T RUN FROM NIGERIA’S CHALLENGES – TINUBU

He made the remarks during a meeting with leaders and coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors from across Nigeria’s 36 states at the State House, Abuja.

The delegation was led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, who serves as the Director-General of the group.

Tinubu told the gathering that attempts to intimidate him would not succeed, stressing that his political experience, including the 2023 election cycle, had prepared him for current challenges.

He recalled the difficulties of both the party primaries and general election that brought him into office, insisting he remains focused on national leadership and reform.

The President emphasized the importance of unity within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), urging members to remain committed to what he described as the “Renewed Hope” agenda.

He also criticized those he said undermine democratic institutions, insisting that respect for the judiciary and the rule of law remains essential for national stability.

Tinubu further referenced past privatisation efforts in Nigeria while questioning the outcomes of some policies implemented during the tenure of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

He used the examples to highlight ongoing debates around governance performance and economic reforms, drawing reactions from attendees.

The President reaffirmed his administration’s focus on delivering on campaign promises, stating that his government remains committed to improving living standards and strengthening democratic institutions.
