Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.
The Nigerian international’s Turkish club, Galatasaray, announced the arrival of the newborn in a congratulatory message shared on its official social media platforms.
The club expressed happiness over the development and wished the couple’s daughter a long, healthy and happy life.
The newborn is the couple’s second child together. They already have a daughter, Hailey, who was born in 2022.
Birth Follows Accident Involving Stefanie
The arrival of the baby comes about two weeks after Stefanie reportedly escaped injury in a three-vehicle road accident in Istanbul, Türkiye, while eight months pregnant.
The incident occurred on October 13 in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
Reports indicated that Stefanie was driving an SUV when it collided with a light commercial vehicle before veering into another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
Although the vehicles were damaged, no injuries were reported. Stefanie was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations and was later discharged.
Osimhen, 27, remains an important member of Nigeria’s Super Eagles and currently plays for Galatasaray in the Turkish Süper Lig.
