The ongoing Osun State Governorship Election has continued to produce early results from various polling units as political parties monitor the collation process through their respective situation rooms.
Results contained in updates monitored by The National Patriots show a close contest between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Accord Party in some of the polling units reported so far, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) recorded no votes in the two polling units captured in the updates.

At Repodun Village Polling Unit in Boluwaduro Local Government Area, the APC secured 68 votes, while the Accord Party polled 39 votes. The ADC recorded zero votes at the polling unit.
Meanwhile, at St. Felix Primary School, Fafori Polling Unit in Atakumosa East Local Government Area, the Accord Party recorded 94 votes, ahead of the APC, which secured 74 votes. The ADC again recorded zero votes.
EARLY RESULTS SHOW COMPETITIVE CONTEST
The two polling-unit results give the APC a combined 142 votes, while the Accord Party has 133 votes. The ADC has recorded no votes across the two polling units featured in the updates.
However, these figures represent only individual polling-unit results and should not be interpreted as the final outcome of the election. Results from additional polling units and local government areas are expected to emerge as the counting and collation process continues.

The situation-room updates are part of efforts by political stakeholders and election observers to follow developments across the state in real time.

For now, the early figures indicate a competitive race, with the APC taking the lead in Boluwaduro, while Accord secured an advantage in the Atakumosa East polling unit reported.

The National Patriots will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as additional results become available.
