OYEDELE HAILS INNOVATION, INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION AS NRS UNVEILS REV360 PLATFORM TO BOOST REVENUE ADMINISTRATION

The Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji, has described the agency’s newly launched digital tax platform, Rev360, as a major step toward modernizing tax administration and improving voluntary compliance across Nigeria.

He made this known during the official unveiling of the platform in Abuja, where he emphasized that the innovation represents a fundamental transformation in how tax processes are managed and experienced by both individuals and businesses.

According to him, Rev360 is designed to simplify tax administration by integrating key processes such as registration, filing, payments, compliance management, reporting, and taxpayer support into a single digital ecosystem.

Adedeji noted that the platform reflects the agency’s shift toward a technology-driven system that prioritizes efficiency, transparency, and ease of compliance, rather than traditional manual procedures.

He explained that the goal is to reduce the burden on taxpayers while making processes more predictable, seamless, and user-friendly, thereby encouraging greater voluntary compliance.

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, also praised the initiative, describing it as a key reform that would strengthen Nigeria’s revenue system and improve the overall business environment.

He said digital solutions like Rev360 would enhance transparency, boost investor confidence, and support ongoing economic reforms aimed at long-term national development.

Other officials of the NRS explained that the platform was developed to meet modern expectations of taxpayers, especially businesses operating in a fast-paced digital economy where speed and convenience are essential.

They added that Rev360 would improve service delivery by offering better engagement channels, clearer visibility of tax obligations, and more efficient support systems for users.

The agency further stated that the system would also strengthen data-driven decision-making, improve institutional coordination, and enhance overall revenue collection efficiency.

Rev360 is part of the NRS’s broader transition toward a fully automated, integrated tax administration model designed to improve transparency, accountability, and performance across the system.
