Abducted Oyo School Staff, Students Appear in Video Pleading for Negotiation
Students and staff abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State have appeared in a fresh video, appealing to authorities to avoid the use of force in ongoing efforts to secure their release.

In the footage, the principal of Community High School, Esinele, Mrs. Alamu, who was kidnapped alongside students and teachers, was seen in tears as she called on President Bola Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde to consider a non-violent approach in handling the situation.
She claimed that sustained security pressure in the area has worsened conditions for those in captivity, alleging that the captors had threatened consequences following recent developments. She further urged the government and the Nigerian Union of Teachers to engage in dialogue aimed at securing their release.
