In a bid to boost the Nigerian economy, President Bola Tinubu recently met with Mr. Adebayo Ogunlesi, chairperson of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), and his team at the State House in Abuja. The meeting, which focused on Nigeria’s infrastructure development and economic growth, was attended by several high-ranking officials, including the vice president, the finance minister, the minister of trade and investment, and the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. 
During the meeting, Ogunlesi outlined some of the initiatives that GIP has undertaken to promote infrastructure development and economic growth in Nigeria, such as the development of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and the construction of the Lekki Deep Sea Port. He also highlighted the need for greater private sector participation in the country’s infrastructure development, and pledged GIP’s continued support for the country’s economic growth.
President Tinubu praised GIP’s efforts and pledged his government’s commitment to improving the business environment and attracting more foreign investment. He also stressed the importance of infrastructure development in driving economic growth and job creation.
