At least five countries have been eliminated from the ongoing FIFA World Cup following the latest round of group-stage matches.
The affected teams are Iraq, Senegal, Tunisia, Haiti, and Turkey, all of whom are now out of contention for a place in the Round of 32.
Senegal and Iraq became the most recent teams to be mathematically eliminated after suffering consecutive defeats in Group I. Senegal lost 3–2 to Norway, while Iraq fell 3–0 to France.

Both teams sit on zero points after two matches, making it impossible for them to advance to the next round.
They join Tunisia, Haiti, and Turkey, who were earlier knocked out of the competition after failing to secure enough points in their respective groups.
Despite their elimination, Senegal is still scheduled to play Iraq in their final Group I fixture in the coming days, a match that will now serve only to complete the group schedule rather than influence qualification.
