Authorities advised pilgrims taking part in the sacred journey in Makkah and surrounding holy sites to prepare for severe heat conditions and take all necessary precautions to avoid heat-related health risks.

Health guidance includes staying well hydrated, carrying umbrellas for protection while moving outdoors, and minimizing direct sun exposure during peak daytime hours when temperatures are highest.

Officials also reminded pilgrims to strictly follow all safety and health instructions issued during the pilgrimage period to ensure their wellbeing.

In case of emergencies, the Saudi authorities provided the medical emergency hotline 997 for immediate assistance as millions of worshippers continue to arrive in the kingdom for the annual Hajj.
